Parts of Eryri, or Snowdonia, have struggled to cope with the surge in ‘staycation’ tourism, now requiring walkers to pre-book parking at designated time slots for several car parks around Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). However, there is plenty of solitude to be found with using the public transport and straying away from Snowdon itself.
